Our Children's Health
The Department of Public Health organized a program entitled "The Health of Our Children" on Thursday, 14/8/1446H, at the Lavanda Park Complex in Abha City. The program aims to promote children's health awareness and the importance of healthy habits. It also educates mothers about the importance of vaccinations in protecting children from infectious diseases and motivates children to practice everyday health behaviors in a fun way.
The program included a range of interactive activities that attracted children and their families, including:
- Awareness pillars on healthy nutrition and behaviors of children.
- Interactive workshops on the right way to wash hands and dental hygiene.
- Children's recreational activities include face painting, educational games, and interactive competitions.
The program received a large turnout, with over 500 visitors, reflecting its success in delivering its health and awareness message. Various activities have also contributed to promoting children's health perceptions in innovative and attractive ways.
