The university is at the top of the educational pyramid because it plays a crucial role in shaping society and achieving its goals, as it is not just a place where students and faculty members gather in isolation from society to receive lectures, knowledge, and scientific lessons. Still, it is one of the most critical stages of education in providing students with many skills, making them care about shared goals, and a sense of social responsibility, which will inevitably be reflected in the development and enhancement of their self-confidence, all of which leads to creating an environment suitable for refining their personalities.
Accordingly, the student has become the focus of the educational process. The primary goal of education has become the development of the individual, preparing them properly and making positive changes to assume future responsibilities and meet the requirements of modern life, which is characterized by numerous developments. He needs all the necessary experience and skills to prepare for the labor market. There must be other means to hone these skills; this can be achieved through student activities that contribute significantly to their comprehensive growth.
Therefore, student activities have become a scene of university life. They constitute one of the main pillars of the educational process due to their increasing importance in developing the learner’s cognitive and social skills, providing students with experiences for their practical and scientific lives, and fostering the spirit of cooperation, leadership, and teamwork among them.
The university’s keenness to achieve its goals in raising learning outcomes by introducing modern methods in education, especially in blended education, which would give students the ability to lead and take responsibility, refine their skills, and provide them with values and constructive trends that make them fully prepared and ready to engage in the labor market, in addition to encouraging their ambition, desire and the constant pursuit of research and learning, the university is an integrated life that aims to enable students to explore their appropriate career paths to take an interest in building and developing their personalities.
