World Water Day

World Water Day is an annual United Nations Observance held on 22 March since 1993. Its aim is to emphasize the importance of freshwater resources and raise awareness about the staggering number of individuals, approximately 2.2 billion people, who lack access to safe water worldwide. World Water Day is a platform to inspire action and address the urgent global water crisis. A key objective of this event is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 6, which focuses on ensuring access to clean water and sanitation for all by the year 2030.
