Response time is one of the most effective elements in saving the lives of patients. The World First Aid Day aims to raise public awareness of how first aid can save lives in crises. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies believes that first aid should be accessible to all. It should also be an integral part of community development. Therefore, the IFRC launched the World First Aid Day in 2000, which is celebrated on the second Saturday of September every year
