This unit is linked to the Director of College Management; it is concerned with communicating important information and decisions to all members of the Organization by following up on the access of information and overcoming the obstacles to its access by using oral, written, or electronic means, as well as monitoring any communication from outside the Organization, i.e., maintaining ways of entering and exiting information by orderly means of communication.
The Department of Basic Medical Sciences was established in 2013. It does not grant degrees, but it supports the faculty departments by teaching microbiology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
The Master of Public Health aims to qualify professional specialists and researchers in the fields of public health and community health, who can plan and implement health programs, evaluate health programs, manage health services in disasters and epidemics, and set health policies through stimulating the energies of society through community partnership and advanced scientific research.
The program aims to qualify students to become specialists in the fields of public health with skills that will help them develop and present health programs in various fields of public health and community health. The program also prepares graduates to work in the public and private sectors in areas of public health and community health such as environmental health and occupational safety, health management and health economics, epidemiology and nutrition.
The College held an introductory meeting for new students on 2 Rajab, 1443 A.H. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah Alshahrani at the male section, in the presence of the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahed Alsahrani, Their Excellencies the heads of the departments, their deputies, the academic staff members, college employees, and members of the student club.
The Anesthesia and Operations Technology Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Khamis Mushait, King Khalid University, aims to graduate competent anesthesia specialists who provide outstanding patient care and have excellent leadership qualities in anesthesiology. The department has innovative technological labs equipped with the latest machines and equipment. The students and interns have various rotational clinical exposures in tertiary care hospitals. The faculty staff has local and diverse universal backgrounds.
