World AIDS Day
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks the body's immune system and, if not treated, can lead to AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). World AIDS Day on December 1st brings together people from all over the world to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and show international solidarity before this epidemic. It has become one of the most famous international health days and a significant opportunity to raise awareness and commemorate those who died. And celebrate victories in increasing access to treatment and prevention services.
