The College of Applied Medical Sciences, Student Club, with the support of the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, organized the "Power of Hope" event regarding World Cancer Day on Tuesday, 4 February 2025, at 6 p.m., at Lavanda Park. The event came under the supervision of Dr. Fahad Hussein Al Hamoudi, Head of the Anaesthesiology Supervisor of the Student Club.

Khaled Ali Asiri, an anesthesia student at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Khamis Mushait, won second place in the KASU Award for a promising, innovative project ( Air Medical Station).
